The House of Nobility is a public institution and corperation that organizes the nobility of Norway. 

The Houses also keep archives of the legally binding treaties and conventions, (commonly reffered to as Letters Patent) contracted between monarchs, nations and our members over the ages.

The House of Nobility decide legal matters and questions of special legal rights and / or privileges which the monarchs and thus their nations, have bound themselves to and guaranteed the members.

The House of Nobility of Norway has legal juridistiction to judge and render binding verdicts by the authority given by former monarchs and the mandate to uphold such treaties on their behalf.
